IP Address of a Terminal

In order to make CCAutoServer recognize a client/terminal, we have to know the IP Address of the client/terminal. After we know the IP Address of the client, insert it in the Terminal Setting window in CCAutoServer. CCAutoSoft does not support DHCP or dynamic IP, it only support static IP. So every client must have their own IP Address and different to each other.

If the client is already connected to the network, here is how to know the IP Address (Win98)
1. Open the Control Panel: Click Start Button > Setting > Control Panel
2. Double click the Network icon to bring out the Network window.

3. In the Configuration tab, double click TCP/IP. The TCP/IP Properties window will appear.
4. Click IP Address tab, and the IP Address of the client is shown in the IP Address box.

This is how to insert the IP Address of the client into CCAutoServer.
1. On the side panel, click Setting > Terminal, Terminal Setting window will appear.

2. Type in the client’s name in the Terminal Name’s box. You can give whatever name you like.
3. Insert the client’s IP Address into the IP Address’s box.
4. Click the Add button.

Go through step 2 to 4 again if you want to add another client.

5. Double check the IP Addresses and finally click the close button and restart CCAutoServer. Double check the IP Addresses!!
