Installation Guide For CCAutSoft 3.04

This is a guide to install the software (CCAutoServer and CCAutoClient) and some configurations which after this step-by-step instruction a terminal (with IP 192.168.1.1) will be connected to server (with IP 192.168.1.100), and you will be able to control the terminal.

After download the CCAutoSoft installation file (normally in single zip file), unzip(extract) the file into a directory.

Warning! Do not run the installation process from within WinZip application. Extract the zip file in a folder first and close WinZip.

CCAutoServer setup
Install CCAutoServer in one of your computer in your cyber cafe’s counter. The computer does not need any special specification or extra hardware.

1. Go to the folder where you extract the file, find in the setup.exe file and double-click it. If you are asked to restart the PC, restart it first and then go to step 1 again.
2. Setup window will be shown, read the license aggreement. Click next.
3. Choose  CCAutoServer then click next.
4. Wait until the installation finish usually in just a few seconds.
5. Restart your computer.

Basic configuration for CCAutoServer

1. Start CCAutoServer.
2. Login : select Admin, Password: admin,  then press Enter button.

3. When asked to “Enter Safe Mode“, click “No“.

4. Click Setting from the Side Panel and press TerminalTerminal Setting‘s window will appear.

5.  Remove any listed terminals from the Terminals’ Setting Window by select it one by one and press remove button.

6. Insert terminal name (just create any name, e.g:PC 01). Insert the terminal’s IP address (to find the IP address of that terminal open it’s Network Neighborhood setting from the control panel > Tcp/Ip > properties > IP address, e.g: 192.168.1.101)

7. Press Add button. Close the window and then restart CCAutoServer.

Now you have only one client computer. You could add more terminal later.

 

CCAutoClient
Install in the computer that you want to control from CCAutoServer. (e.g: PC01 with IP address 192.168.101 which you have inserted the name and IP number in CCAutoServer earlier.)

1. Go to the folder where you extract the file, find setup.exe file and double-click. If the you are asked to restart the PC, restart it first and then go to step 1 again.
2. Setup window will be shown, read the license aggreement. Click next.
3. Choose  CCAutoClient. Click next.
4. Wait until the installation finish in a few seconds.
5. Restart your PC.

Basic configuration for CCAutoClient
With default setting, the terminal screen will be locked when it is connected to CCAutoServer.  (If it is not connected, the screen will not be locked. It has a small CCAutoClient window at the right-bottom of the screen.) We assume, there is no problem, so the terminal is connected and locked.

1. Insert “admin” password in the box on the locked screen. The screen will be unlocked once you press insert button.

2. On CCAutoClient window press Setting

3. Insert admin password : admin when asked

4. ClientSetting window will appear, find Server’s IP Address box in Configuration tab and insert your server’s IP Address e.g: 192.168.1.100 .(The server which computer you have installed CCAutoServer earlier.)

5. Click Save and Close. Choose restart CCAutoClient when asked.

After the terminal is restarted, it will connected to CCAutoServer. The screen will be locked and you can control it from the server.
